Underground Utility Mapping

The company is primarily a mapping company, specialising in the location and mapping of underground services. Information is supplied in both 2D and 3D format, with differing uses for each. Each format of survey supplied, indicates the position, in both plan and depth, of existing underground services.

Clear Route Utility Services engineers identify the network of underground pipes and cables using a range of location equipment, including Ground Probing Radar. This information is then analysed using computer special computer software by one of our engineers.

This information can either be supplied as paint marks on the surface, or as colour plans supplied both on paper or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) formats. Where plans are required, enough topographical information to allow the customer to identify visible features within the survey area is combined to the underground location results.

Clear Route Utility Services provides an expert service to the Utilities, Construction and transportation industries to determine the exact location of underground services.

• Conventional paper plans with utility size, material and depth information
• CAD transfer in 2D and 3D format
• Unique software allowing infinite numbers of cross sections to be interrogated
