Project: Steelwork Squareness Survey

Brief: A major hospital in Cambridgeshire that required expansion, decided on a modular solution that required to be linked to the existing building.

Solution: A particular service offered by Clear Route has been the checking for squareness and level of streelwork prior to cabin installation.

This has been undertaken for modular, permanent and temporary installations, and particularly in the healthcare industry across the country. The majority of the installations are to be used for operating theatres, and the need for the structure to be perfectly in place is obviously paramount.

Above is an example of the size and complexity of many of the structures. Prior to cabin installation, we conduct a squareness and level survey of beams, pads, piers or steelwork to establish the shift and shim at critical load positions.
