Project: Railway Survey

Brief: An underground pipe was to be installed using pipe jack technology underneath a busy network of London Underground tracks.

Solution: Clear Route were instructed to undertake a Topographical Survey to cover the route of a proposed pipe-jack across an extensive network of live railway lines on the London Underground system. Of particular interest was the level of each of the tracks to ensure that the pipe-jack was conducted at a depth that would have no effect on the level and position of these tracks. In addition, the survey was used to ascertain construction positions for the shatfs necessary for constructon of the pipe-jack.
